Deborah Dutcher is a professional actress and classically trained legit soprano with credits worldwide. She attended the Hartt School where she attained a Bachelor of Music Degree in Musical Theater and Voice. Deborah began her professional career touring Europe with various touring productions before landing her first major role as Christine in the German language production of The Phantom of The Opera at the Neue Flora Theater in Hamburg. From there, she went on to create the role of Cosette in the original German cast of Les Miserables. Following her success in Germany, she was invited to re-create her role as Cosette in the original Flemish production of Les Miserables in Antwerp, Belgium. Deborah is featured as Cosette on the award-winning original cast albums of Les Miserables in both German and Flemish.
Deborah was later invited by Cameron Mackintosh to play prestigious theaters across the UK including Edinburgh and Manchester as Christine in The Phantom of The Opera. In the year 2000, Deborah made her West End Debut at Her Majesty’s Theatre, now His Majesty’s Theatre, in London as Christine in The Phantom of The Opera. In 2011, Deborah performed in the internationally televised 25th Anniversary of The Phantom of The Opera at The Royal Albert Hall in London. Other theatrical credits include Hope Harcourt in Anything Goes for Grange Park Opera, Anna in The King and I, and touring Scandinavia with the London Philharmonic. She has also performed for Audi, Volkswagen and had the honor of introducing the Lamborghini Gallardo in Las Vegas.
Along with her husband, Donovan Mannato, Deborah is a producer on Grease and Back To the Future, The Musical currently running in London’s West End. Back To The Future, The Musical, winner of the 2022 Olivier Award for Best New Musical has recently opened on Broadway at the Winter Garden Theater. Deborah is a strong believer in the power of creative expression. She enjoys teaching voice and acting in her spare time and is excited to have the opportunity to give back through the Zzak G Applaud Our Kids Foundation.
