Evgenii & Olha

Evgenii was born and grew up in Russia where he started dancing Latin and Ballroom in his early childhood as a member of formation “Impuls”. Together with the team, he became vice champion of National Championship and finals of World Championship.

Evgenii studied in the Academy of Culture and Arts, where he experienced different styles such as ballet, contemporary, modern, folk and learned how to create choreography. He has over 24 years of dance experience and over 11 years of teaching.

Currently, Evgenii dances and competes in American Smooth style with his partner, Olha. He loves to teach, share his passion for dance and inspire his students. He truly believes that anyone can become a dancer and it’s easier than it seems. Evgenii enjoys seeing how dance can enrich people’s lives.

Olha Novikova 

Olha was born in Ukraine and started her dancing journey in early childhood in both Latin and Ballroom. She graduated the University of Culture and Arts, competed in many national and international competitions,  and became a certified Latin and Ballroom judge and teacher both in Ukraine and abroad. Olha has been working as a coach for professional dancers in China and become top-12 in international Latin.

Currently, she’s continuing her dancing career in American Smooth with her partner Evgenii, setting new goals and confidently moving toward them. The greatest thing is to be a witness of students’ success, inspire them for the further achievements, be not just a teacher, but the example. “The faith, the aspiration, the sincerity – these are things that make your dancing journey complete”

• 2018 Top 12 WDC European championship, Kyiv, Ukraine
• 2019 Top 24 Rising Stars International Latin World championship, Shenzhen, China
• 2019 Top 24 Rising stars International Latin WDC World Championship in Dublin, Ireland
• 2021-2022 Top 12 of all national championships in China International Latin
• 2023 Fred Astaire CCDC Closed American Smooth vice champion and winner of Fred Astaire regional and interregional closed American smooth
