Johnny Condo has been performing all over New Jersey for the past three years. He graduated from Southern Regional High School in 2005, and holds a dual certification in history and special education from Kean University. Johnny has been teaching for thirteen years and is currently teaching special education history at Haddonfield Memorial High School. Johnny has roots deep in musical theatre and directed ten junior high school musical productions prior to transitioning to high school two years ago. He also coached junior high baseball for two districts across nine seasons. Johnny’s passion for music goes all the way back to his childhood. Growing up in Essex County, New Jersey, Johnny remembers watching Doo-Wop specials on PBS, loving the harmonies. He loves singing classic ballads, from the crooners like Sinatra to Bobby Darin, to the contemporary crooners like Michael Buble and Harry Connick, Jr. Johnny also loves the sounds of Elvis, the Four Seasons, and classic R&B. Johnny gets his love for Doo-Wop from his father, and soul 70’s and motown from his mother. Johnny incorporates all of these genres of music into his performances all over New Jersey. Johnny can be seen at Italian restaurants all along the Jersey Shore, the Philly suburbs, and performs at private and corporate events all over the Tri-State area. He is incredibly grateful for the opportunity to perform for AOK, and to all the individuals who organized and coordinated this great event.
